Welcome to Ghostwriter. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ghostwriter website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Ghostwriter (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Ghostwriter.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ghostwriter. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you connect your LinkedIn account, you also agree to comply with LinkedIn’s terms of service and policies.

Ghostwriter is an AI-powered writing tool designed to help users generate, edit, and optionally schedule professional content, including LinkedIn posts. Features may include AI-generated draft creation, personal voice and style modeling, LinkedIn account connection, scheduling and publishing tools, and a draft workspace. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time without notice.

To use Ghostwriter, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us promptly.

Ghostwriter is offered as a paid subscription service. The current pricing is $20 per month billed annually. By subscribing, you authorize us, through our third-party payment processor, to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Ghostwriter uses third-party AI model providers to generate content. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or unintended output. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before publishing it. Ghostwriter does not guarantee engagement, performance, accuracy, or business outcomes from content generated through the Service. You assume full responsibility for all content you publish.

You retain ownership of the content you create using Ghostwriter. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We do not claim ownership of your posts and we do not sell your content.

If you connect your LinkedIn account, you authorize Ghostwriter to access limited profile information and data necessary to provide the Service. You acknowledge that we are not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn and that LinkedIn may modify or revoke API access at any time. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Ghostwriter complies with LinkedIn’s policies. We are not responsible for any actions taken by LinkedIn regarding your account.

You agree not to use Ghostwriter to violate any laws, harass or defame others, impersonate individuals, generate spam or misleading content, infringe intellectual property rights, attempt to reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to us, our users, or third parties.

The Ghostwriter platform, including its software, branding, design, and underlying systems, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or exploit the Service or its components without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your use of the Service creates risk or harm. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, access to the Service will cease and data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI output, reliability of the Service, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of Ghostwriter is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghostwriter shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of business, or reputational harm arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Ghostwriter harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of content you publish, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert jurisdiction, e.g., State of California, USA], and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
